Since 1933, Narrangullen has been built on generations of farming by the Reid family, starting when Andrew Reid imported some of the first Aberdeen Angus into Australia.
We produce high-quality Angus beef, Merino wool and Merino, Hampshire Down and Dorsett prime lamb production.
About Narrangullen
Narrangullen is located between Yass and Wee Jasper backing onto the Burrinjuck Dam.
Our operation started as an Aberdeen Angus stud in 1933, and whilst continuing to supply to the highest ranked cattle finishers in Australia, it has expanded produce lines into sheep. We now manage over 1,000 head of cattle and 20,000 sheep.
Our produce is reared on wide natural pastures, free of hormones and we focus on genetics and bloodlines to optimise the growth, survival and taste of our animals.
Sustainable practices and the environment remain core to growing our produce the right way, partnering with Greening Australia, Agronomists and we are 90% of the way to Net Zero.
